"Instead of telling our young people to plan ahead, we should tell them to plan to be surprised..."

On January 22nd of this year i made a list of things i wanted to do by the end of the year. If you can't remember, and lets be honest...i can't, so if you want to see it click here. If i'm perfectly honest, i haven't done very well....or at all well......

Of the 45 that started with, by my reckoning i've completed 2, with another 6 that i've kind of completed or will complete in the next few months. The ones i have completed are....

2. don't get any points on my driving licence (but considering i've only driven for 3 months of this year, that wasnt hard)
41. make donkeys/other random animal out of wood (click here to see it)
42. eat something i've never tried before (i can't remember what exactly, but i do remember eating something new...)

And the ones that i've kind of completed are;
29. always look on the bright side of life
35. remember all my (good) friends' birthdays
44. make the effort with people
45. find something good about every single day

With 1 that i will almost definitely complete ;
9. apply to university

With my last post being about aiming for things, i'm going to aim for the following one, obviously because of being ill some aren't possible, but the following i'm gonna aim to do in the next 5ish months...;

3. get a "proper" job (or just develop my current business)
4. learn how to make a good cake
7. tidy my room
11. use the words "don't you know who i am?" successfully
13. pretend to be a foreign tourist for the day
14. send a message in a bottle
15. buy something from harrods

18. stop biting my nails (i've been 'bribed'/threatened to stop doing this by a mate)
20. save 10% of everything i earn (i might not save it, but i think i'm going to give it away to a worthy cause)
21. go to madame tussauds
26. take the boat from greenwich down the thames
28. cook a three course meal for friends/family
36. stop looking back and concentrate on now
39. make a jammy dodger milkshake
40. watch more 'classic' films

So.....there we go, another blog, and hopefully some goals that can be completed. And if i do complete them all, that will be 23 of 45, which i'll be happy with considering the topsy turvy year i've had!! And then maybe i can do the others next year.

Anyway.....Love to your mothers.
